Bando is a city located in Ibaraki prefecture. Many Muslims live in Bando and there are few mosques over there. Al-Mustafa Masjid is located in Bando, Ibaraki. There is no bus station or train station nearby. It can be reached by car or a long walk. This masjid is very near to the most famous Pameer restaurant and its halal food. Masjid is just a few walks away from the Pameer Bando branch. This is not a proper building type masjid but a masjid built by containers. Toilet and ablution are for men available outside the masjid. The masjid is spacious and around 100-200 men can pray in this masjid. The masjid is only for men so there is no space for women to pray. There is parking outside the masjid which is available 24 hours and is free.
Many Muslims in large groups visit this mosque regularly and offer their prayers. It is very clean from the inside and the management inside the mosque is also good. Many Islamic programs, dars, and teachings are also held in this mosque. In Ramdhan, proper iftars are also arranged. Many Muslims gather in this mosque to offer their Eid prayers also. As the masjid is very near to Halal Pameer restaurant and mart, it’s convenient for Muslims also to shop and eat after offering their prayers.
This masjid is the best example of the Muslim belief. Muslims with such love for Allah can build a mosque anywhere in the world. We wish that much more facilities for Muslims get available in Japan, whether it's Halal grocery shops, mosques, or restaurants.
