Cool Down This Summer! A Guide to Kawagoe Aquatic Park

Swimming is one of the ideal methods to cool off and relax on a scorching hot day in Japan as it is notorious for its hot and muggy weather. One of Saitama's largest and most well-known summer swimming pools is Kawagoe Aquatic / Aqua Park, also known as Kawagoe Suijo Kouen or Kawagoe Water Park. It is one of the few remaining public pools in Saitama Prefecture after a number of them were permanently closed. It typically only opens during the summer vacation for 7 weeks, just like all the other seasonal pools. However, it will only be open for five and a half weeks in 2022.

One of its key features is the pool with waves at Kawagoe water/aqua park. The shallow end begins at 0, and the deep end is 1.6 meters; it is sloped. Every ten minutes, there are waves. The enormous ship in the park's middle is another well-liked aspect of the water park. The different slides are also highly well-liked. There are also many kinds of slides for adults and kids, which are really fun.

This year, admission tickets, parking tickets, and resort area tickets can be purchased from Seven-Eleven stores nationwide (multi-copy machines) or Seven Tickets (WEB). Please note that refunds cannot be made after purchase if the business is open regardless of the weather.
Pool admission tickets will not be sold on-site on the day. Please purchase a ticket in advance before visiting the park. Parking lot tickets can be paid locally on the day of use if you have purchased an admission ticket. If you are coming by car, you also have to buy a parking ticket. ¥730 is for adults and for junior high school students and younger children ¥210. Tattoos are not allowed inside the pool.
