Halal Food You MUST Try in Japan - Nihari and Paya - Pehchan Halal Restaurant

Halal food demand is increasing daily as Japan is welcoming international tourists again. Pakistani restaurants are always one step ahead when it comes to Halal Food in Japan. One such Halal Restaurant is Pehchan Restaurant in Gunma.

In search of delicious Halal Food, we drove for almost 1 hour to reach Pehchan Restaurant. The restaurant is big and spacious. We ordered Mutton Nihari, Naan, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biriyani, and Achari gosht. The food was prepared fresh and so fast. We were amazed at how good the food smelled here. The mutton nihari was the best part. There was a big piece of meat with a huge bone. The meat was so tender, it was falling off the bone. The gravy was spicy, flavorful, and thick. The spicy level was a bit high as we forgot to mention the spicy level but we enjoyed it a lot.

The butter chicken was creamy and buttery. The amount was quite a lot and it was worth the money. Achari gosht was also excellent. The chicken biryani contained 2 big pieces of chicken and flavorful biryani rice. What was comforting was that the restaurant was 100% Halal and the food was all freshly prepared. We were given complimentary salads. The food price was also affordable and reasonable considering the delicious taste and huge amount.

Providing Halal food is their motto. This restaurant is one of the most famous Halal Restaurants in Gunma. The access to this restaurant is a bit tough by train and as a result, we went by car. If you are craving authentic Pakistani foods and delicious Halal meat, this is the best place. I have never eaten bigger goat mean anywhere else in Japan which is Halal.
