In Kyoto, there are also many Halal and Muslim-friendly options for Muslims. Arash's Kitchen is a Halal Persian restaurant that serves Persian and Indian food at their restaurant since 2013 in Kyoto. The owner of the restaurant is from Iran. The restaurant is just a 3-minute walk from Kyoto University Hospital.
The restaurant has the best Persian food in Kyoto. Even though they also have many Indian dishes on their menu but they are famous for their authentic Persian food. They are also famous because this restaurant famous because many tourists from different countries like to visit Arash’s kitchen because of their good food and quality. The restaurant is very cozy and has a good friendly atmosphere as the staff and the owner both are very kind and friendly with the customers. The restaurant remains closed on Monday and other days they open from 11:30-15:00 and then from 17:00 until 23:30.
The restaurant has around 35 seats, they also arrange parties on request. They have 2 types of seating arrangements in their restaurant, counter seats/normal seats and some terrace seats (outdoor seats). Their terrace sitting area has a wonderful view of the Kamogawa river. They don’t have a parking area but a nearby coin parking lot is available. They have a great assortment of both Persian food and Indian curries and sides. The average price for lunch is 750 Yen + and for dinner 2000 Yen +. They have various kinds of sets in both cuisines. Their most loveable dish by customers is their amazing kebab platters/sets which are very juicy and perfectly seasoned. Kebab koobideh and Joojeh seta are the most famous which cost around 1000-1200 Yen during lunch hours. They have belly dance performances also on every Saturday from 19:30 onwards. They also serve sheesha at their restaurant with side menus like yakitoris, falafel, samosa, Papad, etc. at very cheap prices from 100 yen –500 Yen.
It is a 9/10 recommended restaurant in Kyoto, especially for people looking for a Halal restaurant with good food and great vibes.
