HALAL typical INDIAN Restaurant around Kotesashidai (Saitama)!

Having typical Indian food in Japan is quite common but having it as Halal is quite difficult. As many Indian restaurants in Japan don’t have Halal options but if we find such restaurants, we always get excited to enjoy some Indian food as India is known for its good food and their spices. Located in Saitama around Tokorozawa city there is one small Indian restaurant named as GREAT FOOD which serves typical Indian food as the owner is from India and is a Muslim. It is about 18- 20 min by walk from Kotesashi station or nishi Tokorozawa station, there are also few buses which pass by this route. It’s a bit far to reach by walk but walking is good for health. For me it was easy to reach as I went by my car. This restaurant is located just opposite to a very famous MAMI MART. It is a small restaurant which can have up to 18 people regularly but for parties they offer extra space which is available in their restaurant so a total of 25 people's space is available. The interior is quite simple but peaceful. When I visited there were few customers who ended their dinner and went. Later it was just me so the owner who is Muslim and from Kolkata(Calcutta) he made dinner for me by himself. YES! I got the food served by the owner himself. I ordered for a custom small thali for me with KEEMA CURRY, DAAL(LENTILS), RICE, SWEET YOGHURT, SALAD and NAAN among with PLAIN LASSI. My food was presented in a THALI (round silver plate which is made up of a selection of various dishes.) I loved the presentation and the way food were served. And about taste? I loved DAAL, it was very good. Keema curry was just Okay. Naan was served hot and it was soft. I like the yoghurt as well as there were fruits inside and was mango syrup over it, for me it ended as a dessert. It's such a pocket friendly restaurant with such a good portion of food served. I was totally full in just half of the meal. Lunch menu starts from 700 yen ... and they have so many offers to choose from like for dinner also other than their main menu. The owner is such a kind person. He has this restaurant since 4 years. He makes the food according to the customers need as well. Had a good dinner in this restaurant. Unfortunately, they don’t have any linked social networks. They only deal by calling them or visiting. So, I really recommend try their food at least once to experience their good food with friendly staff/owner.
