Odaiba is a high-tech entertainment hub on an artificial island in Tokyo BAY. Visitors come to see the beauty, visit amazing malls and enjoy many attractions in Odaiba. AQUA CITY ODAIBA, is one of the malls which is next to Odaiba Kaihinkoen and faces the downtown area over the STATUE OF LIBERTY and RAINBOW BRIDGE. It has the seafront’s greatest zone. Restaurants which are full of variety from Japanese cuisine, Asian, Italian etc. And among those amazing restaurants there is an AMERICAN BUFFET Restaurant, “THE OVEN”. THE OVEN serves Halal and Muslim Friendly dishes in their Buffet lunch and dinner. It is a very affordable buffet with a lot Halal food dishes. Every menu has a label indicating any allergic ingredient of the menu. The label also indicates whether the menu is Halal, so that it is very convenient for Muslim customers. Service is so good; price is fair and taste is divine. Choices of food is variety from Japanese, Italian and Asian dishes. There is a terrace sitting too, so people can enjoy eating outside under the sky as well. The view is amazing as there is indoor window sitting area too from where people can enjoy the great views of Sumida river, Rainbow bridge and Statue of Liberty. Whenever I visit this restaurant, I get crazy seeing so many delicious Halal food with so many Halal desserts too. They have a lot of salad varieties too. I just love their food and the ambience is good too. There is a time limit for lunch which is 1.5 hour and for dinner it is 2-hour limit. Their price has categories like adult, elementary, kids and kids under 3 are free. Their weekdays and weekend charges are different. Their lunch buffet price is less than their dinner buffet price. Due to covid –19 they have placed gloves, sanitizers and it is necessary to wear masks and wear gloves while taking food. And they have placed every food item in small portions separately which is convenient and safe for everyone during this Covid-19. These are the following Halal mentioned dishes served in the Lunch Buffet I visited: HALAL DISHES: (changes may occur) Fried chicken, spicy Cajun fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, spicy rotisserie chicken, garlic grilled chicken and corns, pizza, udon, garlic bread, Japanese rice, chicken casiatore, grilled vegetables, ketchup spaghetti, Cajun jambalayas, fried rice, spaghetti peporonica, Japanese omelette, tandoori chicken, teriyaki chicken, halal sandwich, all salads were Halal, chocolate fountains, waffle, ice-cream, cakes, fruits in a cup, many soft drinks, cream puffs, many cakes and jelly-based sweet dishes. The above-mentioned dishes might get change, so please check once more before eating or confirm it with the staff. Their staff helps Muslim customers a lot, they are very friendly and they will explain everything regarding Halal information if asked by any Muslim customer. So, I must say this is a good buffet restaurant to enjoy various Halal dishes in Odaiba and in a very reasonable price.
