Mawhub grocery shop and a recycle shop newly opened in Tokorozawa (Saitama)

Nowadays in Japan, we could see a lot of restaurants are Muslim friendly or Halal certified. Similarly, many Halal grocery shops has also opened day by day. This is good news for Muslims living in Japan.


Mawhub is a grocery store has opened in Tokorozawa city. It is just about 4 minutes walking distance from Shin Tokorozawa station. It is opened in June. The previous time, there was no grocery store for Muslims in the area. The opening of this shop is actually good for all the Muslims living around there.


Because of new shop, they haven’t had many varieties of foods and stuff yet, but you can get some items you wan to get from there. The owner is from Bangladesh and he told me that he is trying his best to sell many products as soon as possible.


The things they have are chicken boneless, whole chicken, chicken franks, frozen packs of fries and nuggets, oil, noodles, rice, spice boxes, tortillas, meat, nuggets, pickles, chillies etc.


Half of their shop is of halal grocery shop and the other half of it is second-hand furniture shop.


I wish they will have more varieties of foods and halal certified items in their shop in the future. But the shop was really amazing that you can buy meats as it is the only shop in Tokorozawa. Recommended shop for people living nearby.
