Halal certified sushi restaurant in Asakusa

Asakusa is known as one of famous tourist spot in Japan. You can enjoy wearing kimono and stroll over the streets of Asakusa. In Asakusa you would feel Japan vibes when you visit Sensoji Temple and eat Japanese food. It has HALAL Japanese traditional food restaurant.


SUSHI KEN is the first Halal certified restaurant where Muslims get to enjoy the authentic Japanese dishes like sushi, Sashimi and so on. The restaurant is close to Asakusa station, just about 1 minute far. It is very difficult for Muslims want to try Japanese foods to find such a Halal authentic Japanese restaurants.


I was very happy to see this restaurant marked as Halal. There was no reasons not to go to the restaurant!
I ordered a tempura set which was one of reasonable price. Also, I ordered Tamago (egg) sushi as well. They have many things in their menu like fried chicken, steaks, different sets. The chef cooked everything in front of me. I was really enjoying by seeing how my foods were made. It was served to me within few minutes.


It was my first time to experience this type of authentic Japanese sashimi. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They actually explained me how to eat sashimi with wasabi. They also gave me recommendations what to eat first. To be honest, sashimi is not my type at all because it was like a medicine or awkward feeling of eating a raw fish for me. However, I enjoyed other things like Tempuras, Japanese Green Tea, miso soup.
