GRILL HUNTER GOTANDA　( 100% HALAL BEEF HAMBURGER AT GOTANDA)

As Japan's Muslim community is increasing, similarly there is a boost in Halal restaurants as well. There are many Halal kebab shops and restaurants which are opening from different countries like India, Pakistan, Turkish, Chinese, Uzbek restaurants.

But we still do have cravings for a typical Hamburger restaurant. And this kind of restaurant I guess is very difficult to find because there are tons of minor things to check regarding Halal.


I went to Shinagawa with my friend to have an outing. Later, we searched Halal options nearby, so we found a name on google maps that said they are Halal.
The restaurant's name is GRILL HUNTER. This restaurant is located very near to Gotanda station. It is just a 5–6-minute walking distance from the station and is very easily accessible. It was just a try to find out whether it is Halal or not.
When we reached the restaurant, we Saw a HALAL mark on their signboards. The restaurant is on the 2 nd floor and there is an elevator to go upstairs. Upon asking from the staff, they themselves were MUSLIMS and were from Bangladesh. I was very happy to know and was very excited to try out this restaurant and their hamburgers.
The staff was very friendly and very kind and welcoming. When they came to know that we were Muslims, they gave us free drinks. Every set included rice and their special soup. The prices were so good and affordable, being a grill-type hamburger restaurant, their prices were good. The menu has good options like hamburgers, Karaage , noodles, etc all different kinds of food.
Therefore, we decided to order 2 different sets, one was of hamburger with veggies and the other was noodles with Karaage and veggies. The staff said in their menu they use 100% Halal Beef.

The amazing part of this restaurant is that they provide their customers with a disposable black little apron. That seemed so good. The food was served on a sizzling hot grill plate. I can't even describe my happiness by seeing such food which is HALAL. They gave two different sauces along with it, one was soy sauce and the other was their signature sauce. About hamburgers?


It was the best food I ever had in Japan. Like after decades I was enjoying the food, everything was so perfect and delicious. The hamburger was so juicy and perfectly cooked, so tender. No smell, nothing. It was just beyond our expectations. Both dishes stole our hearts!
A highly recommended restaurant, for every Muslim to visit. They have more branches as well but only Gotanda branch and one more branch has a Halal mark, please do check once more before visiting.
