Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup and is a local food to be eaten in Japan but authentic and Halal Ramen in Japan? The answer is Yes! I found one in the famous Asakusa. It is a Japanese Halal restaurant and ramen shop named Naritaya. It is one of the best Halal restaurants in Asakusa. And is among the very rare ramen shops that serve 100% Halal traditional old-style Ramen. It is situated right behind the famous Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. It is a Halal-certified ramen shop; the certificate was obtained from the Japan Islamic Trust. Another sign after the Halal mark is that kids are welcome! Just next to their certificate. Great place for families to dine in as it is kid-friendly. It was the first Halal ramen restaurant in Japan. The menu is huge and has various kinds of ramen, noodles, gyoza, gyudon, karaage, chicken, and many more. The prices are quite affordable and they have vegetarian options as well for their vegetarian customers. They have counter sitting arrangements downstairs and a proper table sitting upstairs and they also have a small praying space upstairs in which one single person can pray peacefully. The praying space has a praying mat and khimar for women.

I went to Asakusa with my kids during public holidays. It was very crowded and there was a lot to explore with kids. After visiting Senso-Ji temple, I decided to dine in Naritaya Ramen as I heard a lot about this place. So, it was lunch hours and a pretty great sitting area to dine with kids. I ordered soupless noodles from their menu in regular size. It was my first time eating soup-less noodles in a ramen shop, I never ever had a chance to eat. Within a few minutes, the lunch was served. It is actually cold noodles with no soup and all the veggies or eggs over it. The presentation of the food was so good and looked so tempting. Just like the food, it also tasted great. The amazing authentic taste of Japanese noodles but soupless, its name actually is Maze soba. If you want to add some spice to your food, you can add red pepper seasoning or fresh garlic, or fresh chopped spring onion placed in small pots in front of you and add extra flavors or excitement to your maze Soba. I just loved this shop and enjoyed my ramen and my kids loved their maze soba too.
